David--I see you received many responses concerning the Cokin filters. My
mention of them was in response to a question about ektachrome color
infrared. Again the best results obtained for color infrared with the Cokin
filters was with the varicolor or polacolor filters in conjunction with a
separate linear polarizer. Any combo will produce a variety of colors that
work wonderfully. i.e.-varicolor purple/orange, red/green, etc. As the linear
polarizer is rotated, the varicolor filter will change colors as the light is
polarized at varying angles. Another alternative is to use colored polarizing
filters. Give them a try.
