As mentioned by Nate, Cokin's 003 equals Wratten #25. Other than
that, there are no OEM Cokin filters that can be used for HIE; but
for IE you also can use Cokin 001 (yellow #8; too light IMO) and
Cokin 002 (orange #21; too dark for some people/applications). Tiffen
also lists several filter colors in Cokin size, but no special IR
filters.

However, after tedious negotiations and time consuming tests and
retrials, I have managed to find a manufacturer who can produce
almost any IR color in optical resin CR39, the same stuff Cokin uses.
And best of all: cut in the exact Cokin size: 83x83mm. A few people
on this list know that this has not been, (and still isn't) a smooth
operating (custom order) business, but I am at least very confident
about technical possibilities. Considering that Kodak has skipped
most of its IR filters, I am very happy with this solution.
Price is as good/worse as the Kodak gel's, but much cheaper than the
glass filters from B+W and Heliopan. Mechanical resistance is close
to the glass quality, but with less risk of breakage of course.

PS HTML question: I have been pondering about expanding my filter
color conversion table with the Hoya and Cokin specifications
(others brands?). Currently the table is full screen wide....what is
the opinion with HTML experts among us about going wider than that?
(it already is a fixed font (the <PRE> stuff))
Do all browsers allow scrolling to the right? Can't fit it in a
smaller table....

PS "Laury White": what happened with her live session at CompuServe?
Any interesting details?
Did someone tell her about this list?....:-))
