I wasn't sure what speeds other hypered films would result in, but
if 1000 ASA is fast, you might try reverse processing
HIE....makes 1600ASA, with no loss of IR sensitivity nor halo effects....;-))
Not sure if you can push it on top of that....perhaps the
non-pictorial/artsy allows some more speed.
You can find some formula's on my homepage, but it seems as if
regular reversal kits could do the job too (would love to hear first
hand experiences!):
