Jeff-- to maximize grain, overexpose the film, or overdevelop, or a
combination of both. Also, D-19 or HC-110 (dilution B) will increase negative
contrast. As far as pushing infrared film, it is really a moot point as the
films have no given film speed rating. You rate the film usually anywhere
from 50-200 (Kodak) or 25-100 (Konica).
If you then overdevelop the film, you could say that would be somewhat like
pushing a ''normal'' b&w film. My choice to increase the grain however is to
just overexpose which is quite easy to do without trying too hard.
