Actually, both were correct.  I originally intended to just shoot the Moon
but I also shot a snowy, Moonlit landscape.  The Moon wasn't terribly
exciting, and the grain was unbelievably bad (or "good" depending on one's
preference ;)  Partly because it was HIE, but I also think it had to do with 
the fact the film expired in 1976!).  The landscape shot worked very well.
Usually Moonlit landscapes turn the sky blue over extended exposure, causing
the picture to look like daytime; but this shot keeps the feeling of the
night very well.  I'll bring it in and post it to the IR gallery.  I didn't
print the Moon shot because of the grain (a mistake in hindsight) but it
otherwise didn't look any different than a normal B&W shot.
