What Willem--or any other Alpine HIE fan--needs is SuperMuffs:  A pair
of fur sleeves with elastic wristbands at both ends and a full cut in
the middle.  Put one on each arm, right over your jacket, while
skiing.  To change film, remove gloves, take muff off one arm, insert
camera and film canister into muff, then place one hand in each end
and do what must be done.  The reason you need two is not only to keep
you balanced (one on each arm) but so that when you fall and mess up
one muff you still have a nice, dry standby.
