In relation to external meters I forgot to mention that I not only
took reflective readings and +1, but also confirmed those with
incident readings and a rare TTF reading. You only need a few
consistent 1/60@xx readings in any mode before you leave the meter
stuffed in the bag. Another item not having to hassle with....8-))

Well, that's one of the more painful parts of this deviance. I
cannot recall having shot any picture in my life with gloves on. And
by looking at some high wind shots (how many of you did catch snow
that is visibly a sparkling kind of sand storm?!) I spontaneously
feel my fingers itching again....8-))
If there is a limit to shooting HIE in the mountains, this is
it....dark bag film loading in those temperatures isn't fun
either....add a steep icy slope, and you have my night mare scenario.
Luckily some of them were rewarded with Ansel Adam like results....

A snow dance sometimes helps.
You shouldn't do that with folks around though....IR photog's are
weird enough as it is....;-))
