I don't think you can change the sensitivity of the meter without some form
of major modification.  You can change what kind of light the meter sees,
which can be either putting a filter in front of the meter, or just using
TTL metering with the filter on the lens, which does exactly the same
thing.  However, my experience with metering TTL is that the results are
not different from using a handheld meter (that is to say, you better
bracket to make sure.)
