It's Laurie White, not Laurie Anderson - the author of the book that is.
Sorry...I just attended a lecture by one of the Voyager people last night,
and the name of their popular CD-ROM title's author was floating in my head
when I was writing the message. Stupid mistake.
Bob, thanks for sharing your experience. FYI, Laurie's book suggests 2
stops for #29 filter rather than 4-1/3 stops, and 1 stop for #8 - the same
as regular b/w film. Your experience seems to correspond well with my own
and also her suggestion? BTW, I haven't heard about the 4x5 version of the
Konica infrared film. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think
it's even available in Japan.
