I have a listing of film/developer combination on my Web page (below).
IMO, HC110 is the best choice. My page doesn't mention Rodinal, but if
you like major league grain with your 35mm HIE, then I can suggest
Rodinal 1+75 70F 7 min. Needless to say, this is a starting point that
has worked well for me during the summer.

I will assume that you meant EI200 above. If you are really shooting at
EI2000 then you're in uncharted territory. The high contrast you
mentioned was probably due to the D19 developer.
