Kodak Hie Dev.

It seems that most of you in this group use D76 for Kodak HIE. I would
like to use only liquid developers at this time so that I can mix up
smaller amounts.

That leaves, TMax, Rodinal, and HC110 as far as I know. What would be some
suggestions on times and temps for Kodak in these developers?

I found somewhere on Willem's page to use Rodinal 1+100 70F for 5 minutes
(depending on time of year)

I don't particularly want a high contrast look. I developed my last roll
of Kodak in D19 (@72F for six minutes)and was not pleased with the high
contrast.

The roll of film that I used had been in the freezer since 1994. Actually
the negatives turned out better than any I have shot. I used ASA 2000
metered TTL and TTF (#25) I also loaded the film in subdued light and only
lost the first shot. So, I don't know if the high contrast was due to the
developer or to the age of the film.
