Extended Red

All this talk of SFX has got me wondering...

Years ago, I used a nifty film called SO-115, the SO being "special
order". Came in only 150 foot rolls and featured extended red
sensitivity. Was made primarily for astronomical work to capture red
nebulosity, etc. Contrast was very high so a special home brew developer
had to be used, called POTA. Grain was extremely fine; landscapes were
awesome.

Finally, Kodak recognized what they had, renamed it Tech Pan, and gave
us an easy to use developer.

I don't have any data sheets, but does anyone know how far up the
spectrum this film extends?
