The lead lined bag, or lead boxes are not very useful....the X-ray 
operator will simply crank up the output to see what's inside that 
black object....8-)) 
Walking through with the films neatly stuffed in a long coat is a 
sure way though, but I don't believe that HIE is more susceptible to 
X-rays than any other medium speed film; IR and X-rays are miles 
apart in fysics....definately no problem on modern airports, and most 
likely not on 3rd world machinery once or twice either....
