My Kodak High Speed film both exposed and unexposed has not been
affected by going through the X-ray machines at airports. Neither
has my Tmax P3200, Kodachrome, or Ilford XP2.
X-ray film is usually used with a special intensifying screen that
fluoresces when it is hit with X-rays. Zinc Sulfide screens used to
be used in the old days to visualize X-rays.
Since photographic film does not have x-ray fluorescent materials
associated with it, and there is almost no interaction between the
silver halide in the film and the X-rays, there won't be a problem.
Making an X-ray image is not easy! You need an intensifier screen
or an extremely long exposure and high activity developers.
