Infrared film and the Nude
- From: Greg McGonagill <infrared@xxxxxxxxx>

I have a (very) pregnant friend who would like some nude photos taken in
a few days.
Along with conventional black-and-white film, I would like to try some
infrared exposures. Does anyone have experience with
film/exposure/lighting/developer combinations suitable for this type of
subject matter?
I have used Konica 750 in the past, with an opaque filter (mostly for
landscapes). I seem to recall reading that this film/filter combination
can cause veins under the skin to appear prominent in photographs (which
is not what I want).
I also have a stock of Kodak HIE (which I have not yet tried). I could
use either strobe or tungsten-halogen lighting, and have both opaque and
red filters available.
Any suggestions/opinions would be most appreciated. Thanks.
