It was never ment as a buying guide....8-))
One other option you have is buying raw Schott glass, uncoated and
unmounted disks or squares. Yet the only lead I have on that stuff 
requires minimum orders of $300. Yet prices for a single piece of 50x50mm 
are friendly, about $50. I am temped to go for it at one time in 
future, since there are a few more interesting colors that have no 
equivalent in the photo business. 
Ah well, Spielerei, as the Germans say....8-))
