Another nice contraption you might look into is a special 70mm long roll
back for the Mamiya 67 series (unlike the compact 4.5m backs
from Mamiya itself), made in the US (forgot the name, can look it up
if you want to). Might be worthwile if you swap backs frequently.
Btw, interesting note on those Rollei backs: it seems as if they made
the mistake of using of-the-shelf parts from Mamiya, in the
assumption that only a single batch of these backs would be needed in
a special order. Yet the demand seems to be steady, and they told me
that if they had known this upfront, they would have designed one
from scratch. Much cheaper. I also caused some panic there, since
both Mamiya Holland and Germany weren't sure if the back was still
being made. The last batch of those 70mm backs in Germany, 3 years
ago, was for....Rollei....8-))
Lucky for them I got a confirmation on its current availability. Now
I only need to find a used back, a new one is offensively priced, even
compared to the Rollei back.
