And you Mr. Levy (JD), I think, are treading on dangerous ground by giving
what amounts to an unsolicited legal opinion on a matter without thoroughly
investigated all the facts.  Just curious, what are your qualifications to
give such advise on a U.S. copyright law issue?  Have you in fact researched
or are you knowledgable as to the specific law applicable to this situation?
 If you are a copyright/patent attorney, and if you know the applicable laws
in question, and if you have all of the facts concerning this original
copyright application, then maybe your advise should be followed.  Otherwise,
I would be cautious about sending out legal interpretations of this sort on
the internet, unless you are doing so on a hypothetical basis.
