Glad I could help. Actually you CAN use your camera meter for infrared. If
you followed the posts recently between Willem and Joe Paduano, the final
word went to Willem, who says you definitely can use the meter from your
SLR and even posted some suggested ASA ratings depending on the type of
camera you have. I'm sure if you asked him for it he would send it.
You are right. It's always better to ask a seemingly dumb question than to
make a truly dumb assumption. Good luck and have fun!
