Tom, I was browsing to see which EOS camera the above applies to, but 
I can't find it. I just saw someone on r.p.e.35mm reporting about the 
EOS 5/A2 not fogging; but without mentioning film type.
What camera did you use?
I did find another message; the 50/ElanII fogs 4-5mm into the image 
area....
