Yeah, I knew which ones do the Bad Think (tm), but I didn't know
the specific model you used.
The 1n RS is safe too indeed.

If you only look at new bodies, yes.
You'll find a nice overview of all EOS cameras (past and present,
regrettably no future) on my homepage; and while you're there, also
check the latest addition, related to energy consumption of EOS
bodies while in bulb mode. Why the 50/ElanII is better than the 5/A2,
and the 620 better than the 1. Sparkling data!
To reel this thread right back in: anyone much experience with night
time use/long exposure with HIE/IE?

(odd note popping up in my mind, triggered by long exposures: grey
and gradual grey filters do diddly squat in IR. A close match with
polarizers, which are also rather useless beyond 800nm)

C....oops, almost started a flame....8-))

I scare away from that, because I'll know it will end up in my
PhotoTrekker while skiing, and I don't know the meaning of or/or.
Think I need a snow caddy....8-))

I think Cor is still in the center of Teutonica, with a not so
grundliche/punktliche connection, so I don't know if he can perform
all these Good Things (tm).
Don't rally your family for an evening of Dad's pictures on the
Net too soon....<grin>
