Tammy;
Most large camera stores, and mail order photobook dealers like "A
Photographer's Place" have three or four different 8.5x11 sized paperback
books on building darkrooms. They're good for ideas on how to adapt
whatever space you have into a home darkroom.
The hardest part about pricing is deciding what the largest format is that
you'll need to handle. If you NEVER EVER plan to use 4x5 (or larger) then
a Beseler 23C is a very good enalrger to plan on, and there are a lot of
them out there used. Look OnLine or in a Shutterbug. If you "might"
someday go larger, then a Beseler 4x5 is a good choice for 4x5, it accepts
different light sources and can even be changed into an 8x10 enalrger.
And don't forget, there are panoramic cameras that use 120 film that are
great for both infrared and group photos, and they require a 4x5 enlarger.
