I just shot a roll of HIE and did 35mm contact sheet through the plastic
page. Fuzzy as hell!!! In a cold sweat I ran to the light table and
removed a sheet from the page. With loupe in trembling hand I carefully
examined each negative. All looked sharp.

I've found that shooting with lenses in the 17-24mm focal length range and
using f8 pretty much takes care of the focusing problem. Frankly I've
never found any reason to re-focus the Konica IR, but the Kodak HIE is
another animal entirely....
I just got a brick of the ILORD SFX 200, and will try it soon. Seems like
the availability is getting better.
