I strongly suspect that this is norrmal. Konica has made their IR750 since
at least the late 1950's (Unlike Kodak, they improve it periodically!) for
primarily agricultural use. The film is made in a single batch, and typically
is released in late March each year. With the heightened world interest in
Infrared, it is entirely possible that many retailers have simply run out.
Konica is an excellent company and I am certain they would publicly announce
any changes in plans well in advance. In any event, a fairly large part
of the world's agricultural people probably consider this to be the IR film
of choice, so I don't anticipate it disappearing any time soon.
