HIE with Wratten 25 & polarizer

The proof sheets are back, but unfortunately they're pretty
inconclusive. The only shots in which I took the same subject with
the extremes of the polarizer was one in which its effect was not
particularly dramatic and one in which I bracked by one stop. The
contact sheet suffers from some blurriness, having been made with the
negatives in the plastic holder as discussed here earlier. As a
result, it's pretty difficult to tell which is whom. Certainly the
effect of the polarizer is not overwhelming, though the four shots in
question do look marginally different from each other even in the
fuzzy contact. I'll have to do a more controlled job of testing when
I next use HIE.
In the meantime, it appears that the polarizer does make some
difference, though perhaps less than I had hoped.
