Hi David
I got your details from the IR list, which I only joined a few weeks ago.
I'm a photographer of 12 years in Australia, working for a large Science &
Technology Museum (photog Dept). I do a lot of IR & UV work, mainly with
old paintings, hence the interest in the list.
Anyway... I am most interested in your work with high speed flash, and
optical triggers.
I studied electronics some years ago, and have a bit of gear. I purchased
Harold Edgerton's book, "Electronic Strobe, Flash", and would love to build
some High Speed flash units.
Can you give me some info on the stuff you are playing with? What type of
speeds you are getting from the flash units? Are you using tubes or arcs
for your flash, etc?
Any books on the subject you can recommend?
What type of subjects are you shooting with the high speed units? Do you
have any pcs on a WWW page?
Oh... if there's anything I can help with in the photo / IR fields, yell! 8-)
Cya...
