filters and exposure

-:> I just developed my first roll of infrared film with supprisingly

Robert,

bracket, bracket, bracket!!!!! do you know about the **Sunny 16
Rule**? If you don't, the rule is this, one a bright sunny day, set
the f stop to f16 and the shutter speed to 1/(ASA). For K64,
it would be f16 at 60th of a sec and so on. It appears that folks
are saying that the #87c gives the film about a ASA of 8, so you
would start at 1/8 @ f16. I use the sunny sixteen rule as much as
possible. As far as shooting in other situations, just set the film
speed to the ASA and take the filter off the lens to meter and
compose...

Sam
