Russian films
In December's Shutterbug, there's an article on Photokina goodies. In
the article, mention is made of Russian FoMos films, "one of which is
an infrared film that peaks at 1060nm and is sensitized beyond 1100nm.
This is over 100nm farther into the near IR than Kodak's IR film. They
have three other IR films...." So, does anyone know of these films?
Are there any distributers in the US or Europe. With all this talk of
using the slow, barely near red sensitive Konica and of the new Ilford
SFX200 films, wouldn't it be fun to have something to experiment with
that is more extreme than the old standby, HIE? I wonder what the grain
is like, too!
I know magazines shouldn't be taken as gospel, so I wait patiently to
be either disappointed or worse, shot down in flames...... :=)
