Re: No Subject
Peter- Thank you for the compliments. I have tried the Konica film and I find
that for the effects I am looking for, it just doesn't do it. The foliage
will turn white if you overexpose it, but then the sky will not record as
black, but light gray. Also it lacks the grain and ''halo'' effects I prefer.
The Ilford film is even worse. The vegetation does not record anywhere near
white, although the sky darkens well. However prints do not look much
different than those made from panchromatic film. I'll stick with Kodak
infrared.
P.S. My new infrared book is in the works and will be available early next
summer. It will include much more information about all the infrared films,
including color infrared and will contain over 50 new images.Keep in touch
and let me know how your infrared work is progressing.
SIncerely,
Joseph Paduano
