Odd detail: the Rollei 70mm back for the 600x series uses Mamiya
internals. Talked to a Rollei rep several times, they seem to
originate from a single production run more than a decade ago.
Initially not ment to be produced in a large quantity anyway, they
would have started from scratch if they had known the final sales.
I even caused some panic with them, because I couldn't get a
confirmation from Mamiya that these things were still in production,
neither in Holland nor in Germany, from which the backs were bought
by Rollei. The last order Mamiya Germany had taken for these backs a
decade ago was for....Rollei....8-))
I'd call that a slow-moving item on my shelves....;-))
Yet on last years Kina a Japanese Mamiya-guru cleared things up, and
confirmed its current production. If I hadn't asked about it there
and then, both German and Dutch distributor would still know diddly
squat about it, although it is even listed in current brochures (but
not in older ones for some odd reason). The 'yes' of this Japanese
guy was one in utterly astonishment as why anyone would even think of
them not being produced anymore....8-))

I have also two separate aerial film data publications, one for Aerochrome
IR (equivalent of Ektrachrome IR) and Aerographic (equivalent of
HIE). The latter with a copyright of 1983, the first with a 1987
stamp. Note the equivalent date of 1983 on the film sheet of HIE
35mm!
There is no publication code or number on it, so I don't know how to
describe them otherwise. Received them from Kodak Germany, as well as
a yellow publication in German (the above publications are English).
