My apologies to Olympus. I forgo them and should not have by any means. I do
think they make a wonder camera and have great optics. I've used their
half-frame pens (F, EE) for many years and at that time the lenses for the
F, FT, etc. could go one on one with Canon, Nikon and the rest at 8x10, and
I'm talking about half-frames here. I do and have mentioned the in my
classes and more than one student has purchased one. IF I wanted a 35mm
system, and decided for some reason not to acquire a Contax, then I would
more than likely buy an Olympus. Unfortunately, it is more expensive than
the entry level K1000, FX-3, etc. and I tend to suggest that the students
keep costs DOWN as much as possible since most seldom have an idea of what
they want to photograph and that may dictate the final choice more than any
other thing.
On the used market, at least in my old area, they were few and far between.

Thank you, I'm humbled.
