Also, beware of Canon for IR.  I love my Canon, it pretty much meets my
35mm needs exactly, except for IR.  You CANNOT use it for IR photography.
I had to go out and buy a second used (non Canon) body for my IR work.
This means another set of lenses, etc.  Apparently, Canon uses an IR sensor
to count the sprocket holes in the film as it advances.  This fogs HIE.  (I
don't know about some of the other films that don't go as far down into
IR.) 

This information may be old news to many on this list, but if you're
considering buying a new camera, and you have IR photography in mind, this
is something to remember.
