First Report on Eastman 5302 (uv and blue only)

Geoff's roll of Eastman 5302 arrived this weekend. It was cheap once we
found someone who could order it, $16 for 100 feet. Last night when
Geoff returned from 3 days of toga parties also known as a latin
convention, he immediately loaded some.
It is thicker than regular film. It is white on both sides which makes
it difficult to believe it is "real" film. Geoff shot the first roll at
EI 16 (indoor with a flash) as suggested on the ultra-violet in archaeology
web page and developed it in D-76. It came out underexposed but there was
obviously something there. He reduced the EI to 8 and shot another roll,
which came out nicely, although the parrots markings are very different
in UV. All the "patching" done on one of our white adobe walls stands
out clearly. The patches don't show up in regular exposures.
