Cats in UV

We have a solid gray kitten, no stripes, no patterns, just uniform solid 
gray.  It's mother is a black/orange calico.  Geoff photographed the 
kitten through an 18A (cat are much better at staying still, especially 
if asleep, than parrots) filter.  The kitten shows the same calico 
markings as it's mother.  Evidentally we are seeing some difference in 
the fur.  Geoff is having a wonderful time showing friends the picture 
and asking them to guess who the picture is of.  Everyone guesses our 
neighbor's cat (also a B/O calico).  Most react with disbelief when told 
it is a picture of Puffy.
