Re: Konica IR 750 with tungsten lights



As the color temperature decreases, the relative proportion of red and
infrared light increases.  Therefore, you can get results some what
similar to typical infrared images without the filter.  Quartz Halogen
at 3200 Kelvin will not work as well as 100 Watt household bulb run at
lower than normal voltage, which in turn will not work as well as
candles.  If you want to create images which only use infrared light you
need the filter as all of the light sources listed produce some amount
of light in the visible spectrum (or we wouldn't be able to see by
them).
