You did not gather all the info you need.
You overlooked/ignored the most neccessary one: how to unsubscribe 
from this list, a procedure listed in the welcome message upon 
subscribtion, repeated at least once every few weeks on this list, and
also listed on my homepage below the link to the list-info.
Since all this didn't help (not an uncommon thing in mailinglist 
land):

Send

UNSUBSCRIBE

in the body of a message to:

LISTPROC@xxxxx

Note that this is for definite unsubscribing, not for temporarely 
holidays and such. For that you might prefer the POSTPONE option,
