mail problems IR-list

Dear gang,

On Tuesday evening there has been a major breakdown of outgoing mail
traffic through the Unisource backbone. This caused a gazillion of
bounces for this list, after which Listproc decided to
auto-unsubscribe en masse. About 2/3rd of all subscribers were gone,
which took some time to recognize and restore. All members should be
back online now, *also* those who tried to unsubscribe in the mean
time. So if you made any administrative changes between Tuesday and 
now, you might face the old situation and have to repeat your 
commands.

Also please resend your messages to the list sent since Tuesday, as
some of you got a 'you are not subscribed to the IR-list' error
bounce, and even the messages that did come through did not reach all
listmembers.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope to take the list over to
Majordomo soon....8-))
