IR in toy cameras

I recently became the proud owner of a Debonair camera. Yes, that's
right folks, an all plastic 120 film camera with no film speed setting,
2 apertures (partly cloudy and sunny) and three focal settings
(portrait, group photo, and infinity). I bought this to experiment with
crude photo effects, but am curious if anyone has tried IR film in a
similar camera. With an all-plastic body it probably is an IR sieve.
Focusing will be a "joy" as well. Any thoughts?
