Jeff and Bill, in regards to Ilford's SFX200 film, I have used it and it is
less sensitive to infrared than Konica, so the infrared effect of white
vegetation is minimal. With a deep red filter, skies reproduce rather dark,
but grass and trees reproduce as light gray instead of bright white. In my
new book, coming out this summer, I include exposure and processing
information on the film as well as a sample photo comparing a photo shot with
SFX200 (with a red filter) to the same scene shot with plus-x (with a red
filter) . You will see there is not a big difference between the two shots.
