While I understanding wanting to have a full back of film, five feet is a
good length. It should hold about 20+ frames and more importantly be a
managable size for hanging up to dry without having to cut it while wet.
How would you film clip the middle 5 feet without ruining a frame? Nothing
to clip on to and wiping down the film would be all but impossible.
Personally, I would rather reload more often and deal with handy lengths.
