I know that several Canon AF cameras have an Infrared Frame Counters and as
such are unable to use Infrared Film. This information is pointed out in
their respective Instruction Manuals, but to the best of my knowledge the
F801/8008 does not use this method so I have no idea as to the source of
this line.
Other than loading the camera in the dark, do you do anything differently
when you load the film? Is there a possibilty of a small light leak at the
top or bottom of your camera back?
