 - Personal history of photography
Started photography from the age of about 10 and went on to study for
two years at Art College.  I wanted to go on and do a Degree but
most of the one's in the UK are based on Fine Art Photography and
my interests lie more on the technical areas.
Since leaving College I have done various photographic work.
For the last 4 years I have worked at the University of Northumbria at
Newcastle in the MA Conservation of Fine Art  department.

 - preferred subjects:
Landscape (and anything without people in)

 - materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry):
Any Ilford B+W film (except their IR !)
Kodak B+W and Colour IR films
Any slide film that suits it's subject
A wide range of NON creative filter including grads.
Ilford Multigrade and Gallery FB and handmade papers
Chemistry ? Well, mainly Ilford B+W and a wide range of Raw chemicals

 - format (35mm/medium format/large format):
35mm, 6x6 and 6x7 and occasional 5x4 borrowed from work.

 - Other strange hobbies:
None of my hobbies are strange, Are they ?
Play by Mail games and a few others

 - Expand on anything photographic you like:
I do not dislike Fine Art photography it's just that's not my style.  I like 
to
take photographs that I find pleasing and just hope a few other people
will like them as well.
I hope to get a few scanned and posted to the web in the summer, and
will look forward to any responses.
I am also trying to work on Kallitypes at the minute as these I feel will 
suit
my IR work very well (though not the IR shots of the paintings from work !)
