A small local lab in Red Bank, NJ, USA, called FotoWorks is already
processing this new E-6 film with great results. Originally they started
processing it in a rotary processor called Wing Lynch. Since I'm not a
darkroom person, I don't really know what this is.
I was just in there today, and Bob, who's in charge of slide processing,
said he can now auto process the film. He figured out a way to modify the
tray so that it fools the processor into thinking there's no film in it.
Thus the infrared sensors do not come on! They charge $10 per roll to
process and mount the slides.
FotoWorks' phone number is (908) 530-5955, and the owner is Jesse Cohen.
You can tell him you heard this from me. ***Please Note: as of June 1st,
our area code will change from (908) to (732).
