I'm somewhat confused by this. If the film was developed in an IR-opaque
tank, what difference could a plastic reel make? How could the plastic reel
touching the film cause fogging if there was no infrared or other light
coming in- and if there was IR or other light coming in, wouldn't the film
be fogged regardless of what the reel was made of?
