Using filters on the Minox 35 cameras isn't too hard. A polyester filter can
be cut to fit the front easily enough and stuck on with tape. You have a
choice as to whether to cover the meter cell with the filter; with a dark
red or visually opaque filter this would probably not be a good idea. I
taped a Wratten 12 polyester filter onto the front of a Minox 35ML and it
works well with Infrared Ektachrome. I found this to be a handy combination
since it can fold up and drop into my pocket with the filter on the lens.
The Minox 35ML, unlike the other Minox 35 cameras, can easily be used to
bracket exposures since it has exposure lock on the shutter release.
Another, but expensive, possibility is to get the combined skylight
filter/lens hood that comes with the 35ML and have the glass replaced with
the filter glass of your choice. But then the camera won't close, of course.
Personally I'd like to remove the glass and just use the hood.
