Yes, I've used it extensively with HIE. Body is IR opaque, pressure
plate dimples are a problem. Dimples ruined several shots taken in dry
Texas river beds north of Austin years ago, though I suppose I could fix
the negatives in PhotoShop. Cover the pressure plate with a piece of
film or a piece of 120 backing paper or something else not too thick!
And you will have yourself a wonderful small and sharp camera for HIE.
I used an opaque gel over the lense and also just before the film plane.
Gel on front seemed a bit more flare-y. Minox GTs are great cameras.
I've also used Rollei 35mm and the lense has a different quality--not
better just different, perhaps more of that rounded Leica quality--but
the camera is also too heavy for my pockets and somewhat awkward to
use. All my humble opinions. . .
