The more agigation, the more development. Agigation affects the highlights
strongest, giving them more density, therefore making the negative need a
lower contrast grade of paper to print correctly. This holds true for all
films, infrared not being an exception. Could you give more specifics on the
development and agigation that you used?

Dear IR list:
How does agitation influence developement; of HIE (35mm) in
particular and of b&w film in general? Yesterday I developed my first
roll of HIE in some time and used the "wrong" (less than called for)
agitation. I have not printed yet but the negs seem to have more detail
in the highlights than I am used to.
