EIR should be stored in the can if the film is still sticking out of the
cassette. Under bright lights I can create extensive fog on the film, if
left for long periods of time (my test was over a 24 hour time period
.... so short periods of time are not a problem.). I will send the exact
details to the list sometime next week when I can dig out the test data.
This is related only to the visible spectrum in this case, not the
infrared. (Not what people would probably predict.)
