I have had the same problem with D-76 stock and 1:1 mixed with
distilled water . I get up to 1 mm diameter light areas in the negs
primarilly in even toned areas like skies . I have been using a 5 min.
prewash using ditilled water and 3 inversions per min. agitation in a
stainless 4 roll tank . After each agitation I tapped the tank on the table
and tapped the side of the tank with sissors to remove air bubbles . I
do use the light tight lid to pour chemistry in and out including the pre-
wash but this has not been a problem with my HC-110 dil. B .
Anyone else had similar problems with D-76 or other developers and
HIE film ?
Glad to be a member of the group .
