Thanks for the responce . Bob , I use tap water at the same temp. as
my developer for a stop . This has worked well with all other films
and HIE with HC-110 . Bill , I too have used HC-110 for years with
little problems but was experimenting with a sulfite (D-76) developer
to see if I could get a finer grain and maybe a "dreamier " image. Karin ,
I have also tried Ilfotec HC , Edwal's FG 7 (with and without sulfite) ,
and T-Max but found HC-110 to be the easiest and most consistant .
Rodinol will be one of my future experiments but tends to give very
sharp but large grain with other films I have tested .
It is nice to be among IR friends .
